This Sunday June 26 th the pool will host the annual open house for prospective
members. We appreciate all of the outreach and recruitment you, the members, have
been doing to bring more friends and families to USAI. We have about 20 new
members (building on the 60+ from 2021) and have room for more. Please help us
spread the word.
What to Expect on Sunday
- All prospective members will be greeted and will sign in with board volunteers.
They will be offered a quick tour of the facility, briefing on rules, etc.
- As Membership Chair, I will be onsite from 10a.m. on, and forms will be available
to eligible visitors who want to join on the spot. Bring your checkbooks!
- Board President Lynn Fryer will be there most of the day to welcome folks and
help with software entry and other tech needs and troubleshooting.
- Add photos to your account. Current members (including this year) please log
into your accounts and load individual photos. Board Member and
Communications Director Thomas DiStefano will be on hand to assist with photo
needs. Bravo to all those members who have done this already!
- Our sponsored seasonal category is just about at capacity, but we will prospects
to our wait list should we have an opening. And we can follow up next season as
well.
- Carnivores! Omnivores! Vegetarians! Vegans!
- Grill and Smokemaster Joe Newton will be doing his thing—burgers,
meatless/impossible burgers, hotdogs, pulled pork, grilled cheese, sausage, lots
of fixings. Drinks and chips will be available, too.
- Support the work of the Newtons, Roeseners, and other board and pool
members who have been super fundraisers for swim team and are raising money
this day for the pool.
- Cash payment is best, but cashless payment methods for food can be arranged.
Plan on a super day at USAI!
